Okay so I was doing this poll on Facebook about same sex marriage and this guy wrote.. To straight people who condemn homosexuality, please note the following passages from the bible:
DEUTERONOMY 22:13-21

If a married person has sex with someone else’s husband or wife, the Bible commands that both adulterers be stoned to death.

It is! Stupid people just use verses that say what they WANT them to say.

People tell me it’s from the rough draft of the bible. Meaning God made a mistake…wait…God is capable of making mistakes? My entire world just turned upside down…
i want to know who told you it was from a rough draft in the Bible, && where they got their information from.. && how they got their information.. &&.. &&

And the people who usually say that are the people defending in & that’s where they got it from.
PZ (DrinkYourLavenderSoda): Google ‘Who wrote the Bible.’ It’s a documentary a Christian from the UK put together when he went off in search of the truth. Turns out the Bible has 15 or 16 plagiarisms in it that priests know about and don’t deny. Also, it was forbidden originally for the Bible to be translated into English. The original Bible is Hebrew from what I understand, and the meanings of the words are not the same as they are in English… Men in power had the ability to edit the Bible to their liking basically, for use in controlling the minds of the masses.
God doesn’t make mistakes, but has been mispercieved and misquoted regularly. Live and let live, and Let your conscience be your guide <3.
